Last photography Prize

We are so proud to be nominated as the first winners of National Geographic photo contest 2016 . This picture was called ‘The couscous of love’, and it’s a result of a passionate couple’s work.

Every moment in your life is important,

especially events you plan. The planning can take months and sometimes takes place nearly a year or more in advance with all the work and time to get anything ready. When the day is through it’ll seem like it only took a moment to live through.

But, when all the food is gone, the flowers have wilted, the cake has been eaten, the guests are gone and the decoration preserved or at the storage, the only tangible things you will have for the rest of your life are THE PICTURES. Your pictures will serve as the memories you remember, have forgotten or never experienced.

We are a full service photography, our goal is to create remarkable images that will be treasured for a lifetime, and to provide our clients with service, value and excellence. We create long lasting souvenirs for each moment of life.

Meet our team

We are Wafae, Mohamed, and company.

But way back when in 2012 it all started with just us two photographers, travellers and lovers, creating a creative partnership flourishing out a strong passion for capturing life through images. With years of deepening experience we have evolved into a full time photo studio.

Alqomra is the name of the very first camera discovered by Ibn al-Haytham who gave the first clear description and true analysis of the dark room and pinhole camera.

Although Aristotle and the Canadian and Chinese philosopher Muzi have already described the effects of a single light passes through a small hole, none of them mentioned that this light will show on the screen an image of everything on the other side of the outpost

Ibn al-Haytham was the first to explain this experience with his lamp

He was the first to successfully project an image transfer from the outside to the inner screen in the dark as the “camera” that the West derived its name from the Arabic word: Alqomra

Born around a thousand years ago in present day Iraq, Al-Hasan Ibn al-Haytham (known in the West by the Latinised form of his first name, initially “Alhacen” and later  “Alhazen”) was a pioneering scientific thinker who made important contributions to the understanding of vision, optics and light.
